Hencote’s vineyard charm sets the scene for an unforgettable night of secrets, suspects and suspense. Gather your table, raise a glass, and put your detective skills to the test as you uncover clues, interrogate suspects, and piece together the mystery… before the killer strikes again!
A guest has been found dead among the vines, and everyone in The View is a suspect.
As the evening unfolds, you and your table will interrogate, accuse, and second-guess your way through three acts of clues, red herrings and confessions, all while the bar stays open and the food keeps coming. This isn't a sit-down dinner where the story politely waits for you to finish your main course - it's a proper night out, built around the drama, with drinks and something delicious to eat exactly when you want them.
Doors open from 5:30pm for early arrivals to settle in, order at the bar, and get their bearings before the investigation begins from 6.45pm. Expect curry, rice, loaded fries and dessert served throughout the evening.
Order at the bar, easy, self-serve set-up; plus, three separate bar windows built right into the story, so you're never far from your next round.
Whether you're a seasoned sleuth or you've never solved so much as a crossword, gather your table of 6 - 8, bring your sharpest questions, and see if you can spot the killer before the final reveal.

Terms & ConditionsTickets & Age Policy: Tickets are £15pp and cover entry to the show only; food and drink are purchased separately on the night. This is a licensed event for guests aged 12+; under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. Hencote operates a Challenge 25 policy Bookings & Payment: Tables are allocated on a cabaret basis (6 - 8 guests); we recommend booking your full table together as we cannot guarantee splitting or rearranging tables on the night. Cancellations & Refunds: Tickets are non-transferable, except at Hencote’s discretion. Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the event are non-refundable. If Hencote needs to cancel or postpone the show, ticket holders will be offered a full refund, or the ticket cost transferred to another Hencote event. Food & Allergies: Food is ordered and paid for at the bar and is subject to availability and cut-off times on the night. While we're happy to advise on allergens and accommodate dietary requirements where possible, please notify us in advance at reception@hencote.com, some requirements may not be accommodable on the night, and final responsibility for checking ingredients rests with the guest. The Show Murder in the Vines is an interactive performance; guests may be approached or addressed by cast members as part of the story, but participation beyond your seat is never compulsory. Running times, cast, and content are subject to change without notice. Hencote reserves the right to amend the programme or running order on the night for operational reasons.
