Immerse yourself in the beauty and craft of English winemaking in the heart of the Shropshire countryside. Your visit begins with an introduction to Hencote’s rich history and the unique grape-growing conditions that make our hillside estate so special. You’ll then explore the winery, discovering how each vintage is carefully crafted from grape to glass. When the weather allows, you’ll also have the chance to step into the vineyard and take in the spectacular views that define the Hencote experience. The journey continues with a guided tasting of five award-winning estate wines, from crisp, aromatic whites to elegant reds and delicate sparkling blends, each expressing the character of our land and the dedication behind every bottle.

Terms & ConditionsFull payment is required at the time of booking. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and bookings must take place within the validity period. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking and are subject to change until then. Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable. Bookings may be amended up to 7 days before the visit, subject to availability. Requests made within 3 days of the booking are at Hencote's discretion. Cancellations within 24 hours of the experience, or failure to attend, will result in the booking being forfeited. If Hencote cancels an experience, guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund to the original payment method. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. Late arrival may result in a shortened experience without refund. Guests must be aged 18 or over to take part in wine tours and tastings. Hencote is not responsible for weather or other external factors affecting outdoor elements of the experience, although alternative arrangements will be made where possible. Hencote reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary. These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of booking will apply.
