🍷 An Evening with the Winemaker - Saturday 20th June
Join us for a magical summer evening in the vines as we celebrate English Wine Week with an unforgettable vineyard experience.
Arrive from 5.30pm for an exclusive guided tasting of five of our estate wines, hosted by our Head Winemaker, Gavin Patterson. With views across the vineyard, Gavin will share stories from the vines, insights into his regenerative approach to viticulture, and the fascinating secrets behind our amphora winemaking techniques — all thoughtfully paired with five seasonal canapés.
Guests will also enjoy an optional glimpse inside our on-site working winery, where every vintage of Hencote wines is carefully created, bottled, and labelled on the estate.
As the evening unfolds, settle into the relaxed atmosphere of the vineyard from 7.30pm and enjoy a buffet-style feast featuring authentic Italian pizzas, crispy French fries, and fresh dressed garden salads. With a DJ-led sundown party on the balcony, expect a laid-back evening, exceptional wine, special cocktails and golden-hour views showing off the best of Hencote.

Terms & ConditionsTickets are priced at £75pp, with a £40 deposit required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 13th June. Due to the nature of the event, cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event will be charged at the full ticket price of £75 per person. Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Hencote.If you require amendments to your booking, contact reception@hencote.com as soon as possible. This is an over-18s event. Challenge 25 policy applies. In the event of adverse weather, portions of the event will be relocated indoors.
